Sad news today. Jefferson Thomas, one of the Little Rock Nine, died Sunday in Columbus, Ohio. He was 67 years old and had pancreatic cancer. His speech at the ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the integration of Central High in 2007 was the funniest moment on the program, and the other members of the group have recalled how his sense of humor helped them through a difficult year.
